For those looking for a GoPro alternative, the Casio GZE-1 Action Camera might be what you are after, however, you’ll have to wait. Currently only available in Japan, with a possible release in the States, the GZE-1 adopts G-Shock technology from their omnipresent watch line. Its circular design is strengthened with resin and a urethane bumper to help withstand drops. Additionally, the camera is dust-proof, able to work in freezing temperatures, and water-resistant to depths up to 150 feet. As for its tech specs, it shoots Full HD video and 6.9 megapixels stills. It is controllable from a smartphone, Casio Pro Trek Watch, or with an optional remote control.
