Here’s What I Would Do If I Had More Time

This post is inspired and in collaboration with Intel® Optane™ memory, which will help you save time by completing tasks faster on your PC.

Do you ever wonder what you could accomplish in a day if you had more time? I think about this all too often. Just imagine if sleep wasn’t necessary and you could utilize the extra 6-8 hours a day to get more done. What would you do with the extra time?

Intel Optane Memory

As someone who values their time, perhaps a little too much, I’m always looking for ways to speed up tasks. Below are a few examples of what I would do if I had more time.

Write more

Vintage Typewriter

You would think I’m pretty tapped out on writing since that’s what I do for a living. Each day I write from the time I wake up, until it’s time to make dinner with my wife. Unfortunately, and fortunately, my business is booming, so there never seems to be enough time in the day to complete all that I set out to do.

Things like opening programs, checking my email, launching my web browser (constantly), and searching for files can take up a lot of resources and time. Which is why having Intel® Optane™ memory is so vital. By comparing a computer HDD with Intel® Optane™ vs. a computer without, the speeds are drastically different. In some instances 3-5x faster. As someone who works on their computer for hours a day, these speed improvements really add up, which will end up providing me with far more time to do what I love.

Practice my cooking

Spicing Up the Kitchen

I love cooking food as much as I love eating it. Something my wife Sarah and I bond over. We love coming up with new recipes and reviving old ones. If I, or in this case, we had more time to cook, then I think we could take it to the next level.

Though we work from home together, we still try to keep our hours similar to the standard 9-5. Around the time we are finishing up, that’s when we get into the kitchen and start prepping our food. However, like most jobs that require a bit of flexibility, there are times we start cooking quite a bit later, which results in us eating hours past our normal dinner time.

The simple answer to our problems is to find more time.

Play more video games

Yes, I’m still a child at heart. I love playing video games, and I even stream on Twitch sometimes, too. With more time on my hands, I would be able to enjoy all the new game titles that I’ve had to put off playing because I’ve been too busy. Best of all, Intel® Optane™ memory works hard to open up your cherished games faster; up to 67% faster!
