Fantastic news for your health at Sam’s Club.
Available to everyone (including non-members of Sam’s Club), health technology company higi has committed to placing their free, self-service health screening stations at Sam’s Club locations that have a pharmacy–622 locations to be exact.
What do the screenings entail?
A higi screening station will be able to assess your pulse, blood pressure, weight, and body mass index (BMI). Users will be able to track and share their health information over time through higi’s online platform, which also stores data from 80+ health devices, activity trackers and apps.
All of this is coming to a Sam’s Club near you, just in time for the company’s “Healthy at Heart” screening for Heart Month. The screening is taking place on Saturday, February 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all locations with a pharmacy, and will include the following tests:
- Total cholesterol
- HDL (good cholesterol)
- Blood pressure
- Body Fat Percentage
- Glucose
- Vision (not available at all locations)
- Hearing (not available at all locations)
