A few hours outside of Stockholm you’ll find a small town by the name of Åhus. This is where Absolut Vodka is made.
While visiting Sweden to learn about Absolut’s brand history, we made a stop at their distillery and got to see how everything comes together, from seed to sip. What was most impressive to me is how the last 30-years they have been able to maintain their magnificent growth, yet keep their entire operation within a 75-mile radius. Their farmers, bottling plant, distribution, and everything else involved in making their vodka is done in Åhus.
