The artistic magic of Cirque Éloize, one of the most prominent names in contemporary circus, is set to headline the entertainment aboard the upcoming Sun Princess cruise ship by Princess Cruises. This creative collaboration between the iconic Love Boat and Cirque Éloize promises three mesmerizing performances that will captivate audiences aboard the largest and newest addition to the cruise line.
These performances are tailor-made for The Dome, an innovative multi-level entertainment venue debuting for the first time aboard the Sun Princess. This striking venue, complete with panoramic natural sky views and advanced lighting effects, promises an unforgettable experience. Coupled with the awe-inspiring performances by Cirque Éloize, The Dome will deliver a perfect blend of emotion, color, and music.
Cirque Éloize has been a significant influence on Montreal’s cultural scene for over three decades and has enchanted more than 5 million spectators globally. The renowned troupe combines circus arts with music, dance, technology, and theater, delivering meaningful entertainment that continues to captivate audiences.

Francois Leroux, Princess Senior Vice President, Creative Design and Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration. He described The Dome as a “transformational space” that provides an “unprecedented setting to stage avant-garde spectaculars.” He looks forward to the three original shows designed specifically for this innovative space aboard the next-generation Sun Princess.
Sun Princess guests can look forward to three unique 20- to 30-minute shows rotating in The Dome. These performances will showcase a variety of disciplines, including aerial hoops, aerial pole, bungee, Cyr wheel, silks, and contortion, sure to leave audiences spellbound.
The shows include “BLUE,” a poetic and uplifting journey through space and time; “COME FLY AWAY,” a playful and musical spectacle reminiscent of the 1950s Rat Pack era; and “ARTBEAT,” an upbeat celebration of life in full color.
These complimentary performances will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to Sun Princess guests, promising an unforgettable entertainment experience.
Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, the 175,500-ton, 4,300-guest Sun Princess will provide a range of exciting new culinary, entertainment, and activity offerings, along with luxurious staterooms and suites.
