Crystal’s New Campaign Sells Time Instead of Ports

Crystal's year-long "That Crystal Feeling" campaign skips ports and sells time aboard, and it sets up the 2028 launch of Crystal Grace.

'That Crystal Feeling' brand campaign from Crystal Cruises

Crystal‘s new “That Crystal Feeling” campaign leaves out the thing most cruise advertising leads with: ports. It follows a single day and night aboard, built from sunlight, sea, long meals, conversation, and music, and styled to play like a memory instead of a commercial. A&K Travel Group’s chief brand officer, Peter Chipchase, calls it the luxury of doing less. I’ve sailed with Crystal, so I’ll be watching how closely the ads match the ship. The scale is the real story. A year of connected TV, online video, print, digital out-of-home, and social is a heavy buy for a two-ship line, and the calendar explains it. The run covers 2027 wave season and overlaps the selling window for Crystal Grace, the line’s first new ocean ship in 25 years, arriving June 2028 with 650 guests in all-suite, all-veranda accommodations. Fares and itineraries are unchanged. The campaign launched October 1 and runs through September 30, 2027.
