Four Seasons Is Building a Resort in Tangier, Morocco

Four Seasons just announced a 99-room resort in Tangier, Morocco, with 27 standalone villas overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar. Here is what we know.

Four Seasons is heading to Tangier.

The brand just announced Four Seasons Resort Tangier, Morocco, a new build in the city’s Cap Malabata district with development partner Royal Resort Cap Malabata. It becomes the fourth Four Seasons property in Morocco, and the setting is the headline: a cliffside plot on the northern coast where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, looking straight across the Strait of Gibraltar at Spain.

The plan calls for 99 rooms and suites, including 27 standalone villas, plus more than 260 meters of waterfront. Arjitec is designing the resort, with interiors by Goddard Littlefair.

I have not been to Tangier yet, so I will keep this one short: I have stayed at Four Seasons properties before, and when this brand picks a coastline, it picks the right one. No opening date has been announced. I will be watching this one.
