Princess Cruises wants its most loyal cruisers riding down Colorado Boulevard on New Year’s Day. The line just opened its “Share Your Princess Story” contest, offering four Captain’s Circle Elite members a trip for two to Pasadena and a seat on its 2027 Rose Parade float.
The catch: you already qualify if you’ve hit Elite, which means 15 cruises or 150 days at sea. Entrants submit a 300 to 500 word essay on what their time with Princess has meant to them, through September 22. Winners get named by October 6.
The float itself is scaling up for year two. “Welcome Aboard — Find Your Story” runs 55 feet long and 22 feet high, a foot taller than Princess’s 2026 debut float, and swaps last year’s single-ship Alaska theme for a route through Alaska, Japan, Australia, and Europe.
