As far as resorts and spas go, I’ve been to my fair share. Since here at Joe’s Daily we focus on all aspects of men’s lifestyle, and not just travel — there are many destinations I’ve yet to experience, let alone heard of. Take the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain, a resort and spa that sits on 53 acres of lush desert on the north side of Camelback Mountain overlooking Paradise Valley. Had I not been invited to experience the #NextGenesis with Hyundai, this luxury boutique of a resort would have been sadly missed.
Guests are treated to what seems like endless amenities including twenty-four stylish spa casitas and suites that surround the resort’s infinity pool as well as the Santuary Spa. Not to mention forty of the rooms are between 1,000 – 1,500 square ft and feature wood-burning fireplaces and outdoor terraces. A few other amenities in rooms to mention are flat screen TVs, feather beds, and large bathrooms that have freestanding showers — with some casitas that have bathtubs included.
Dining: Elements Restaurant
Sanctuary’s food represents the resort almost too perfectly. Elements restaurant offers farm fresh American cuisine with a touch of Asian accents. Since everything is fresh and local, the network of artisans and organic farmers help change the menu to reflect the seasonal harvest. Normally I would say I dislike when the room service menu is identical to the hotel’s main restaurant but no complaints here. The cuisine I received from both Elements and in-room were top notch.
