J.J. Abrams recorded a video on set of Star Wars Episode VII that got me all giddy inside. I was worried the film would be jam-packed with one too many CGI effects. That is until Abrams gets a visit from a live action creatures. YES!
The video was made to announce the creation of Star Wars: Force for Change, a new Star Wars initiative from Disney and Lucasfilm, in collaboration with Bad Robot. Their first campaign will raise funds and awareness for UNICEF’s Innovation Labs and its innovative projects helping children in need. Disney has committed $1 million, and fans can now donate for a chance to appear in Star Wars: Episode VII. Simply by pledging $10 through the Omaze fundraising platform linked below, any eligible supporter will automatically be entered to win. The campaign runs from 12:01am PST on May 21st until 11:59pm PST, July 18th.
