Lighting is a piece of furniture that can be basic or be an innovative piece of art. An Israeli designer has used paper and wooden sheets to create a three-dimensional appearance by twisting, folding, and stretching the paper.
Ariel Zuckerman has created the “folded” series using paper and veneer that is covered in an acrylic layer. What does this result in? A sweet looking natural wooden appearance. The thinness of the paper allows the light to easily pass through and show off the unique texture of the material.
The series includes a table lamp, floor lamp, hanging from the wall and a chandelier.
