Just in time for summer, JBL has launched their Charge 3 ($150 USD) portable speaker. This pool-ready speaker made its debut at a Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles, where JBL’s invite-only guests soaked up the sun poolside, enjoyed jams from the Charge 3, and ate and drank their way throughout the day.
Excuse me while I attempt to hide my major case of FOMO now that I’ve seen the pictures from the event. I was invited and couldn’t make it due to prior commitments, but thankful JBL was kind enough to send me a Charge 3 (in blue), which I’ve been using nonstop at my pool.
The Beverly Hills event included a surprise performance from multi-talented actor and recording artist Tristan “Mack” Wilds. He treated the crowd to a performance of his hit songs “Own It” and “Love in the 90’s”. In addition to Mack, Los Angeles-based DJ, Kittens provided the music that led guests into the evening.
JBL gave their attendees the perfect playground to get to know the JBL Charge 3. While sipping on themed cocktails and enjoying small bites, guests had at their disposal inflatable floats, beach volleyballs, and daybeds. They even had a JBL branded Ferrari 458 Italia and the #JBLpoolside photobooth.
