Cadillac is pushing the boundaries of performance luxury with the debut of its Elevated Velocity crossover concept, an all-electric 2+2 designed to thrill both on the open road and across extreme off-grid terrain. Set to make its first public appearance at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California on August 15, 2025, Elevated Velocity previews the future of Cadillac’s V-Series performance philosophy—electrified, luxurious, and adventure-ready.
A New Chapter for Cadillac’s V-Series
The Elevated Velocity concept builds on Cadillac’s recent expansion of its performance EV lineup with the LYRIQ-V and OPTIQ-V, offering a glimpse into what the next generation of high-performance electric crossovers could be. It fuses hypercar-inspired speed, V-Series precision engineering, and bespoke craftsmanship into a lifted, desert-ready platform.

The name says it all: Elevated for its raised stance and elevated luxury experience, Velocity for its high-speed capability in even the most challenging conditions.
Driving Modes for Every Terrain
Cadillac has designed Elevated Velocity with a range of advanced driving modes that adapt to both environment and intent:
- e-Velocity Mode – Optimized for intense, on-road driving; an evolution of Cadillac’s current V-Mode.
- Terra Mode – Peak off-road capability with active air suspension.
- Sand Vision – Enhanced visibility in sandstorms, inspired by Cadillac’s Night Vision tech.
- Elements Defy – Keeps the exterior dust- and debris-free using dust-phobic vibrations.
Selectable experiences extend to the interior as well:

- Welcome Mode – Illuminated entry with gull-wing doors, ambient lighting, and animated displays.
- Elevate Mode – Fully autonomous driving with a focus on passenger recovery, complete with red-light therapy, breathwork guidance, and climate optimization.
- Velocity Mode – A driver-focused performance setting with AR HUD navigation and minimal distraction lighting.
Design: Bold Elegance Meets Rugged Capability
Visually, Elevated Velocity blends Cadillac’s luxury heritage with a forward-looking, sculptural form. The concept rides on massive 24-inch wheels crafted from flax fiber and black crystal tint acrylic, while the Vapor Blue exterior—with its subtle flinty-grey undertones—contrasts against a fiery red interior. The blue tint continues onto the glass surfaces, creating a cohesive, high-performance aesthetic.
The gull-wing doors are more than just dramatic—they improve ingress and egress in tight or rugged environments. Cadillac’s signature lighting choreography has been reimagined, with fluted translucent front lamps and rear vertical lights that create a “light tunnel” effect.
An Interior That Elevates the Journey
Inside, Cadillac has crafted an environment designed for both spirited driving and restorative travel. Shades of deep Morello Red Nappa leather, Cerise fabric, and Garnet boucle create a layered, tactile space. Brushed metal accents and 3D-printed patterns inspired by desert polo reflect the vehicle’s performance-driven elegance.
Practical touches include advanced air filtration, extreme climate control, integrated fragrance, and a vault-locked compartment for valuables. As a nod to its desert-polo inspiration, Cadillac even designed a bespoke polo set stored in the rear cargo area—crafted in matching Vapor Blue and Morello Red.
A Vision of Future Cadillac Luxury
While the Elevated Velocity remains a concept and won’t be available for sale, it represents Cadillac’s ongoing exploration of what electric performance luxury can look like. As Cadillac VP of Global Design Bryan Nesbitt puts it:
“Elevated Velocity seeks to demonstrate our interpretation of an uncompromised performance luxury experience… leaving zero emissions in its wake.”
If this is the future of electric adventure vehicles, Cadillac is making a strong case for a world where hyper-luxury and high performance meet unpaved roads—and look stunning doing it.
