reMarkable’s newest black-and-white paper tablet replaces the long-running reMarkable 2 and sharpens the whole formula. The Paper Pure runs 50% faster than its predecessor, bumps contrast by 20%, and stretches battery life out to roughly three weeks on a charge based on an hour of daily note-taking. The matte glass writing surface still mimics real paper, the screen stays free of buzzes and notifications, and the housing is now held together with screws and snaps instead of glue, so a repair specialist can swap most components without trashing the whole device. It’s built with 38% recycled materials and ships with a redesigned Marker, a USB-C cable, and six replacement tips in the box. Files move cleanly in and out of Google Drive, OneDrive, and Word, with handwriting-to-text conversion handled through a Connect subscription.
