Hoonigan Built a One-of-One RWB Porsche, and You Can Win It

Hoonigan and Akira Nakai built a one-of-one Guards Red 997 RWB Porsche called Souseiki, and it is the grand prize in a sweepstakes ending December 31, 2026.

Hoonigan and RAUH-Welt Begriff founder Akira Nakai built a one-of-one Porsche 911 Carrera S called Souseiki, live in front of an audience in Huntington Beach, California, and instead of selling it to a collector, they are giving it away with $35,000 in cash. Entries for the sweepstakes close December 31, 2026. I have not seen this car in person or driven it, so this is the build and the giveaway, not a drive report.

The build

Nakai built Souseiki, which means Genesis, over two days, October 29 and 30, at HB Speed Shop in Huntington Beach. The base car is a 997-generation Porsche 911 Carrera S, and the conversion is Nakai’s signature hand-cut widebody, finished in Guards Red. The work was done live, in front of an audience, which is how Nakai has always built RWB cars: by hand, in the open, with the car taking shape over days rather than months in a closed shop.

The mechanical changes stay close to the car’s character. The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six makes 355 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque at 4,600 rpm, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. The suspension is Bilstein coilovers, the exhaust is a hand-fabricated BBi Autosport StreetCup system, and the wheels are custom three-piece forged Rotiforms made specifically for RWB builds. Nothing here chases big power numbers. The car is about stance, sound, and the fact that one man cut it by hand.

Why this one matters

RWB builds usually end up in a collector’s garage, and the wait to get Nakai to build one runs a year or more. This is the first Hoonigan x RWB giveaway, and it flips that script: the car goes to a random drawing winner instead of the highest bidder. It also moves the RWB story past the air-cooled cars that made the brand famous. The 964 and 993 builds are the icons, but a water-cooled 997 in Guards Red shows the same hand-cut formula working on a newer, more usable 911.

How to enter

Entries opened October 26 at Hoonigan.com, and the Rotiform partner channel runs October 26 through December 31, 2026, with one entry per dollar spent on eligible purchases through a Rotiform dealer. No purchase is necessary to enter, and a purchase does not increase the odds of winning. The sweepstakes is open to United States residents 18 and older, void where prohibited, and sponsored by Hoonigan Industries, LLC. After entries close, a third-party sweepstakes administrator conducts a random drawing and contacts the potential winner for eligibility verification.

The grand prize is the Souseiki 911 plus $35,000 in cash, with a total approximate retail value of $135,000. The runner-up prize is four Rotiform wheels and four Yokohama tires, valued at $6,000. One warning worth repeating from the official rules: Hoonigan and the sweepstakes administrator will never ask you to pay to receive a prize, so any message asking for payment is a scam.

If you have ever wanted an RWB Porsche without the collector price tag or the year-long wait, this is the closest the hobby gets to a free shot. Read the official rules, enter before December 31, and then start measuring your garage.
