My palette seems to change as soon as we enter into a new season. For Fall, of course, I crave cinnamon, pumpkin, and other traditional Fall spices. The one thing that never changes is my love of good bourbon. I drink that year-round.
George Dickel Bourbon was kind enough to share with us a few new Fall recipes they’ve created to welcome the change in weather. Check them out below.
George Dickel Bourbon Recipes
1. Tennessee Rose
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. George Dickel Bourbon
- 1 oz. Lime Juice
- 0.75 oz. Pomegranate Grenadine (2 parts pomegranate juice:1 part sugar)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake, and fine strain into a coupe glass; garnish with a lime twist and fresh pomegranate slice
Serves: 1
2. Mellow Fellow
Ingredients:
- 1.25 oz. George Dickel Bourbon
- 0.5 oz. Italian Artichoke Amaro
- 0.25 oz. Amontillado Sherry
- 0.25 oz. Bianco Vermouth
- 2 Dashes Grapefruit Bitters
- 2 Drops Saline
Directions:
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass over ice and strain into a Nic & Nora glass; garnish with a grapefruit peel expression
Serves: 1
3. East Nashville Morning
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Dickel Bourbon
- 0.25 oz. Coffee Liqueur
- 0.25 oz. Blackberry Honey
- 2 Dashes Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters
Directions:
Stir all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass until chilled and serve in a glass mug or rocks glass over a large cube; garnish with blackberry and an orange twist
