I recently had the chance to taste a few Gancia wines and I have to say, they were delicious. They’re perfect for holiday sipping because of their crispness and light flavor profile. You know, because you have to offset all the tasty, heavy foods you’ll be eating.

Here’s a little sample trio worth considering at your next holiday dinner party.

Gancia Prosecco Brut

Pairings

Ideal as an aperitif and to accompany light first courses, appetizers, fresh cheeses, and seafood. Excellent as a base for cocktails. We popped a bottle as soon as guests arrived for our Friendsgiving celebration.

Service temperature

8-10 ° C

Glass

Flûte

Storage

The ideal cellar for storing wine must have a temperature between 11-15 ° C, there should be no temperature changes. Avoid storing other foods with intense and penetrating flavors and aromas.

Gancia Pinot Grigio

Pairings

Serve chilled as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to fresh salads, appetizers, and light dishes based on fish. It paired nicely with my wife’s bacon-wrapped turkey. Delicious!

Service temperature

8-10°C

Storage

Store in a dry cool place far from intense penetrating fragrances and far from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Gancia Moscato D’Asti

Pairings

It goes perfectly with jams and fruit pies, paradise cake, panettone, dove, and apple charlotte. For us, we paired with after-dinner cheese and my wife’s bourbon pecan pie.
