“If I’m going to space, there better be beer there.” – Unknown
Today, on both National Space Day and the official ‘May the Fourth Be with You’ day, Budweiser is celebrating its commitment to being the first beer in space with a new video. The film is narrated by retired Astronaut Clay Anderson, who has spent no less than 167 days in space in his 15 year career, and was a vital part of the initial announcement at SXSW 2017.
So what is Budweiser doing to bring beer to Mars? Since their initial announcement in March 2017, they’ve began the process of creating their micro-gravity beer by sending their main ingredient, barley to space. Sounds like a good start to me.
