The Wythe ($500 USD) is Brooklyn Bicycle Co.‘s lightest, and in my opinion, sexiest fixie bike they have ever created. It features a diamond-frame, riser bar, puncture-resistant black tires, and quick-release brakes, which means more time on the road and less time in the bike shop. But let’s not leave out the most important part of the bike: the seat. Wythe comes with a riveted black saddle that adds a vintage touch to an already perfect bike. What more can you ask for?
I finally got my hands on my very own Wythe, where it was custom built at a bike shop here in Los Angeles. Brooklyn Bicycle Co. won’t ship the bike directly to you, but to the shop closest to where you live. What’s nice about this is the reassurance that your bike is built exactly the way it was meant to be, and if something goes wrong, you have a shop close to you to fix it.
