LEGO’s seasonal sets are usually shelf pieces. The Halloween Wreath is the exception: it is a decoration you build once and hang every year. It is a 617-piece brick-built wreath for ages 12 and up. It stands just over 11 inches high and 10 inches wide. An included string lets it hang on a door or wall. The decoration is all on the front. A large bat with fangs sits up top. A ghost, pumpkins, a jack-o’-lantern, and a spider web also fill out the ring.
Unlike a real wreath, this one packs away. It comes back next October, which is the whole argument for it. Fair warning on stock: Uncrate has sold out. LEGO’s US shop lists it as temporarily out of stock right now. So if a restock pops up before Halloween, move fast. At $39.99, it is an easy gift for anyone who likes a build with their decorating. If the door is covered, its garage-mate, the Technic Ford Bronco, is the desk piece of the pair.
