Luxury British bed maker, Savoir Beds has collaborated with world-renowned Parisian architect and designer, Robert Couturier. This unique partnership has him lending his refined elegance and aesthetic to create an ideal contrast between the finest natural materials and craftsmanship, equal with Savoir.
The piece is inspired by Art Deco furniture famous in the 1920’s, and Couturier’s own love of the Savoir product. Its gondola-shaped design features lavish fabrics from Italian textile-editeur, Dedar. The frame is upholstered in Dedar’s ‘Amoire Libre’ in a silver, pale blue color. The tufted headboard is upholstered in Dear’s ‘Alexander’ fabric in a medium grey and blue brushed woolen velvet.
Savoir Beds history starts over a hundred years ago when they first created for The Savoy Hotel in 1905. Handmade in the UK using the finest materials and put together by one their expert craftsman. And because Savoir uses bespoke upholstery and headboards, each client gets a bed fitted just for them, resulting in the perfect night’s sleep and a one-of-a-kind bed room.
The Robert Couturier designer bed is priced at $45,262 USD, and includes a king-size Savoir No2 bedset and HW mattress toper. While you’re at it, pickup the matching dog bed for $3,850 USD.
