I’ve recently found my way back into the gym and already starting to feel great. I have noticed that as soon as I start working out again I’m instantly transported back into my old healthy lifestyle. Eating right, getting more sleep, and drinking less alcohol. Part of my lifestyle changes is focusing on problem areas internally that will help me live an overall healthier life. For example: gut health.

Apple Cider Vinegar Blends from BRAGG

BRAGG Apple Cider Vinegar

Part of my new daily regimen is adding two tablespoons of BRAGG Apple Cider Vinegar to an 8 oz. glass of cold water before my breakfast. Preparation takes absolutely no time at all and it tastes great! Especially now that I’ve discovered they have two flavors I love: Citrus Ginger and Orange Tart Cherry.

The Citrus Ginger from BRAGG might be my favorite since I’m a huge ginger fan. Plus I’m always looking to add anti-inflammatory-rich supplements into my daily diet, which is exactly what ginger provides.

Mighty Sesame Organic Tahini & Mighty Sesame Harissa Tahini

Mighty Sesame Company Tahini

Upgrading your dishes couldn’t be easier with the help of The Mighty Sesame Company and their Mighty Sesame Organic Tahini.

I first discovered my love for Tahini when my wife and I were living in Brentwood. There was a local salad shop that made a Greek salad that had Tahini mixed throughout. Since moving to the midwest, we are always finding ways of recreating that salad, and happy to say Might Sesame Organic Tahini has helped us get closer to what we believe the recipe is. Here are the ingredients for the salad:

Ingredients:

Directions: Combine the kale, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, feta cheese, hummus, and herb falafel together in a salad bowl. Toss well before topping with a good drizzle of organic tahini. Sounds healthy and delicious, right?

You can substitute the Organic Tahini with Mighty Sesame Harissa Tahini. It’s a spicier twist on the classic tahini and equally as good.

Ready to Serve Minute Rice

Ready to Serve Minute Rice

Meal prep is the name of the game when you’re trying to meet your fitness goals. It’s too easy to make excuses when it comes to poor eating habits. Maybe you’re too tired or you just figured ordering pizza is better than eating a bag of chips because you didn’t have time to cook. Whatever the case may be, I am heavily relying on Minute Ready to Serve rice bowls to round out my meals while saving me time in the kitchen.

One of my favorite meals to make that’s easy and quick is pork tenderloin, Minute Ready to Serve Jasmine Rice, and roasted veggies from my wife’s garden. It’s practically a set it and forget it dish and takes no more than 40-minutes tops to make. Most of that time is spent in the oven, so you can do other things while it’s cooking.

Minute Rice Cups

Once the tenderloin is taken out of the oven and set on a plate to rest, I recommend putting your Minute Ready to Serve rice bowl into the microwave. By the time that finishes you can start plating your pork loin, vegetables, and rice. Super easy and a great meal for the family.
