“There is no better pairing than Captain & Cola,” says Captain Morgan as he strolls through Gainesville last Saturday (Nov 30th) with his new adopted buddy. A gator that was born and raised at St. Augustine’s Alligator Farm and Zoological Park is now Captain Morgan’s adopted friend named ‘Cola’. Captain and Cola accompanied other Gator fans as they watched the big game against the Florida State Seminoles.

For every #CaptainAndCola captured that weekend, the rum brand donated $1 to the Crocodile Specialist Group up to $5,000. The CSG is a worldwide network of biologists, wildlife managers and independent researches with a mission to preserve and protect all crocodiles and alligators throughout the world. Needless to say they reached their goal.

“Dogs are too traditional, I don’t do cats, and let’s be honest, parrots are bit cliché,” said Morgan. “Every Captain needs a Cola, and I found mine right here in Gainesville. He has a badass personality and is looking for support for all of his gator friends both on and off the swamp.”
