Sustainability and fashion are rarely two words that play nice together, but it’s nice when you see a brand making an effort to change that. GREATS is set to launch its new Royale Knit collection tomorrow (5/8) with a sustainable angle. Each pair of Royale Knits is constructed from the equivalent of 7 plastic water bottles found in the ocean.

“GREATS is always trying to be better than, and with the release of our Royale Knit constructed from recycled ocean plastics this is an opportunity for us to tell the world. Not just at launch, but as a long-term conversation of what GREATS stands for as a brand.”

– Ryan Babenzien, CEO/Founder of GREATS

These sustainable shoes will come packaged in 100% recycled materials and sit upon the classic GREATS Royale rubber sole fans of the brand know and love.

Shoes made from recycled ocean plastics

Plastic has plagued our oceans for far too long now. It’s awesome to see brands like GREATS do something about it. The GREATS Royale Knit will launch exclusively on greats.com on May 8, 2019 for $119 for men and women in multiple colors.
