Tommy Hilfiger Celebrates 30th Anniversary in Beijing

Tommy Hilfiger is paying a visit to Beijing, China to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Hilfiger brand. Between May 24 and 26, Hilfiger will host events throughout Beijing, including an exclusive fashion show of his Fall 2015 Hilfiger Collection. This event will mark the first time the collection appears on an international runway.

“For the first time, we’ll transport our entire New York runway show to a new setting abroad,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “I’m excited to bring the spirit of an authentic American football game to China and share the unique experience as part of our 30th anniversary celebrations. It’s the perfect platform to share our signature style and brand values across men’s and women’s fashion with a new audience in China, and a great way to celebrate the opening of our largest store in the country.”

During his trip to Beijing, Mr. Hilfiger will also make an appearance at the grand opening of the largest Tommy Hilfiger store in China, located in the esteemed In88 shopping center. This store will also bring for the first time in China the Hilfiger Collection, the height of the Tommy Hilfiger brand.

The first floor of the two-story, 5,400-square foot Tommy Hilfiger store, will showcase women’s sportswear, Hilfiger Collection and accessories, while the second floor will feature Tommy Hilfiger Tailored and men’s sportswear collections. Expect the decor to be centered around Hilfiger’s “classic American cool” DNA.

To cater to the digital savvy, Hilfiger’s 30th anniversary trip will be shared extensively through a program designed to engage with consumers, and share through Tommy Hilfiger’s social media channels, including Weibo and Wechat — two popular Chinese social apps.
