The camera on our smartphones is arguably one of the most important tools we have with us each day. For me, it’s because I’m obsessed with sharing my life through photos on Instagram. Others, it could be anything from sharing a picture of their newborn to an art exhibit they recently visited. One thing is for sure, we all want to take the best picture possible.

My friends at ASUS sent over their #SWOCS box for review that included the ASUS ZenFone 2, a flask, Shinola Detroit colored pencils, and a blank note book.

Their latest campaign, See What Others Can’t See is focused on promoting the ZenFone 2’s technology, specifically its 13 MP rear camera. Because of its Low Light and Super HDR modes, every picture turns out perfect no matter the light conditions. The Super HDR mode for example will handle dark backlight conditions. Something you have to see to believe.

Along with its stellar camera, the ASUS ZenFone 2 features a dual-sim option, faster charging thanks to BoostMaster technology, and an Intel Atom processor with 4GB RAM for speedy multitasking.

I put the camera and processor to the test editing the photo you see above from a business trip last week. The photo was edited using my favorite Android app, VSCO Cam, and the phone didn’t skip a beat. From tweaking contrast and filters to processing it for Instagram, the ZenFone 2 handled the entire action perfectly.
