Fujifilm just gave its most popular hybrid instant camera a serious upgrade. The instax mini Evo 2, announced today, is the first instax camera ever with a touchscreen, on a 4.5-inch display about 1.5 times larger than the original mini Evo’s. Resolution more than doubles to 13 megapixels, and two new tricks stand out: instax Expanded View shows slightly more than the print frame so you can time moving subjects better, and instax Immersive Movie records a four-second vertical video of the moments before each shot. It keeps the 100 shooting effects from combining 10 lens and 10 film effects, plus the classic design and tactile dials. It goes on sale November 27, 2026, with a quick-shot case following in early December. It costs $289.95 in the US, so this one is worth watching if you liked the original mini Evo.
