This Piano Uses Your iPad to Teach You How to Play

Growing up, I never learned how to play an instrument. Unless of course you count the recorder, which is Godawful and still haunts my dreams to this day. If you have a kid that plays one, you know what I’m talking about.

Despite never learning an instrument, I’ve always wanted to play the piano, but never desired going to class or having some rando come into my home to teach me. I was excited to learn I didn’t have to. Enter The ONE, a 61-key portable light keyboard that uses an app (iOS and Android) to help you learn to play.

The ONE Light Keyboard

Made for beginners and experienced players alike, The ONE Light teaches you how to play through keys that light up with sheet music, video lessons, and games when connected to The ONE Smart Piano app. I personally use an iPad to play, which sits perfectly on the built-in stand the keyboard comes with.

The ONE Light Keyboard Specs

  • 61 red backlit, touch responsive keys
  • 64 note polyphony
  • Built-in sustain and optional pedal socket
  • 128+ GM tones and 20 preset notes
  • Built-in mp3 speakers
  • Collapsable built-in music stand
  • Free iOS and Android app

The piano was always the one instrument I regret not picking up sooner. Now, I have no excuse not to learn to play it.
