It was the latter, wasn’t it? Whatever the reason you chose to visit this pristine peninsula in Mexico, you’ve made an excellent choice!

The Excellence Group consists of 3 luxury resorts: Finest Resorts, Beloved Hotels, and Excellence Resorts. Chances are if you have searched for all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana, El Carmen, Riviera Cancun or Playa Mujeres, you’ve heard of at least one of the Excellence Group properties.
Up until recently, I couldn’t give you much insight on hotels, resorts or things to do outside of Cancun. This all changed with my trip to Playa Mujeres. The Excellence Group properties have a range of delicious eateries open throughout the day. From their large offering buffet in the mornings to the upscale bistros at night, the food is something you will never forget.
Relax at the spa, because you deserve it
Now that you’ve eaten your way through multiple restaurants and started your killer tan by the poolside bar, it’s time for a little more relaxation at the spa. All 3 resorts feature amazing spas, with unforgettable treatments and hydrotherapy areas–(1) free session per visit.
Since I’m getting married in May at Excellence Riviera Cancun, a fellow sister resort to the Playa Mujeres properties, Beloved was kind enough to set me up with The Beloved Spa’s Lovely Ritual for Two treatment. It’s 80-minutes of bliss, starring you and your partner, receiving a full-body Beloved Massage, choosing your synergy of oils (eucalyptus, rosemary or peppermint), followed by a milk mousse bath with scalp massage. It was heaven!
