Adobe Celebrates 25 Years of Photoshop with 60-Second Video

Imagine for a moment a world without Photoshop. It would be a scary place for celebrities and a sad place for the design world. I myself have used Photoshop religiously over the last two decades for editing product shots and creating collages for this very site.

February 19th marked the 25th anniversary for the first release of Photoshop. And to celebrate such a monumental day in image-manipulation history, Adobe put together a minute-long animation featuring beautiful Photoshop creations. The video was made possible by artists who provided their original working files. You will notice a few familiar faces like everyone’s favorite Ogre, Shrek, and Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit.
