Well ladies, if you’re interested in seeing your man cry, then Lone Survivor might make a good date night. The movie (based upon the book Lone Survivor) is the recounting of Operation Red Wings. Four members of Seal Team 10 were charged with capturing or killing a high ranking leader of the Taliban, deep within Afghanistan. The operation was unfortunately not a success. The sole survivor, Marcus Luttrell, is the reason this story can be recounted. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster, Alexander Ludwig and Emile Hirsch and is directed by Peter Berg. The film is set for wide release on January 10th, 2014.
