There’s a time at the end of each work day, usually between 4-6pm, where I make myself a cocktail and unwind. No emails, no phone calls, no worries. I consider it my “special time,” while others simply know it as happy hour.
And, because there is no better way to unwind than with a few close friends, I invite them over to try a few of my favorite gin recipes.
My Top Seagram’s Gin Recipes
I was excited to join Seagram’s Gin campaign, because I’ve yet to try their twisted gin flavors and have been eager to make some drinks with them. The warm weather we’re having in LA made me think of raspberries and other delicious fruits, so I picked up a bottle of Seagram’s Raspberry Twisted Gin and started searching their cocktail catalogue. They have numerous recipes that would work great for days relaxing at home with friends, especially by the pool.
Grab your friends and try any or all three of these Seagram’s Gin recipes:
At First Blush
Ingredients
- 1 part Seagram’s Raspberry Twisted Gin
- 4 parts ginger ale
- Peaches or oranges
- Ice
- Highball glass
Directions
- Wash your fruit and cut it into thin wedges. For this recipe I’m using oranges, but peaches work great, too.
- Pour ingredients over ice in highball glass.
- Garnish with fruit of choice.
Summer Nectar
Ingredients
- 1 part Seagram’s Peach Twisted Gin
- 4 parts iced tea
- Lemons
- Ice
- Highball glass
Directions
- Wash lemons and slice into thin wheels.
- Pour ingredients over ice in highball glass.
- Garnish with lemon wheels.
The Gibson
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 parts Seagram’s Extra Dry Gin
- 1 part Dry Vermouth
- Pickled onion
- Ice
- Coupe glass
- Shaker
Directions
- Pour ingredients into a shaker with ice.
- Shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a pickled onion.
