Guinness Celebrates Its One Year Anniversary of their first US Brewery
Did you know that Guinness is no longer located exclusively in Ireland? The Open Gate Brewery is Guinness’ first brewery outside of Ireland and can be found in Baltimore, Maryland inside a 62-acre facility.
To celebrate the brewery’s first year anniversary, Guinness has planned a number of fun activities leading up to the actual anniversary date, as well as daily live music. This week they kicked off the festivities with a special beer dinner (July 31), followed by a cornhole tournament happening today (August 2). On the official day of the anniversary, Saturday, August 3, country superstar Frankie Ballard will headline a free concert at 7:30pm EDT. Local confectionary legend, Charm City Cakes, will also be providing a special Guinness cake and thousands of cupcakes for the party.
