When I think about margaritas, I’m instantly taken back to the summertime—the time I spend with my friends eating chips and guacamole, and of course, enjoying some Altos Tequila Tommy’s Margaritas. To me, the beverage and the season has always gone hand-in-hand. However, I’m shamefully just now realizing that most people don’t feel the same way. In fact, according to a bartender study in 2015, 1 out of every 4 cocktails ordered in the U.S. is a margarita, so clearly I’ve been limiting myself.
Oh, and not to mention that the margarita has remained the #1 cocktail in the U.S. for seven straight years. WHERE HAVE I BEEN?
Enough of these facts, here’s how I plan on bringing in the new year the right way. Hint: Tequila! Below you will find 4 margarita recipes; 1 for each season, courtesy of my partner Olmeca Altos. Enjoy!
