It seems as though Newcastle is going for the viral video approach for this year’s Super Bowl, and it’s working. Instead of spending millions on an ad spot for the big game not featuring my New England Patriots (grr), the popular beer company has taken to the Internet to showcase the things they would have done if they had a big budget. In ‘The Mega Huge Football Game Ad Newcastle Could’ve Made’ video, we find ourselves being narrated to by a very enthusiastic man explaining the concept drawings for the idea his team put together.
It’s a damn shame this was never made because I would have loved to see Anna Kendrick in nothing but body paint. Well done, Newcastle, well done.
