I’m not really sure when this became a thing, but as soon as Fall hits we are all inundated with pumpkin this and pumpkin that. And, honestly, I don’t hate it, because pumpkin flavored things are delicious! The same could be said about peppermint-flavored treats around the holidays. I’d say right around when November begins is when you start to see peppermint products advertised. According to my research for food and cocktail recipes, I’m not the only one searching for peppermint. Which is why I wanted to find some holiday cocktail recipes that use Smirnoff Peppermint Twist.

I host a lot of parties in November and December and always have fun cocktail recipes for my guests to try. Here are two Smirnoff Peppermint Twist recipes that you and your guests will love.

Peppermint Cranberry Moscow Mule

Smirnoff Peppermint Twist Peppermint Cranberry Recipe

I love a good classic Moscow Mule. It’s one of those drinks you can drink no matter the season or time of day. However, if you were to put a twist on it, then put a twist on it. This Peppermint Cranberry Moscow Mule incorporates the best parts of a mule cocktail, while cleverly incorporating the tartness of cranberry and coolness of peppermint by using Smirnoff Peppermint Twist vodka.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. Smirnoff Peppermint Twist
  • 2 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 6 oz. Ginger Beer
  • Sugar coated Cranberries & Mint for garnish

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker, combine Smirnoff Peppermint Twist and cranberry juice with ice. Shake. Fill a copper mug with ice, pour the vodka & juice over the ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with sugar coated cranberries and mint.

Orange & Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Smirnoff Peppermint Twist Orange & Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe

The orange & peppermint hot chocolate works great around the holidays, because chances are there are kiddies around that want some hot chocolate. Use a little Smirnoff Peppermint Twist and Triple Sec to turn a basic hot chocolate into an adult beverage. Careful, though, because you’re going to want to have more than one. They go down easy and really warm you up during those chilly Fall / Winter nights.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Smirnoff Peppermint Twist
  • 0.5 oz. Triple Sec
  • 8 oz. Hot Chocolate

Directions:

Combine hot chocolate, triple sec, and Smirnoff Peppermint Twist in a mug. Stir, and serve with a candy cane. Garnish with a candied orange peel.
