This post is sponsored by Lowe’s. All opinions are 100% my own.

I’m not quite sure when it happened to me, but I think it’s safe to say I’m officially a homebody. I think it began after I got married to Sarah and we bought our first home. There’s just nothing quite like coming home to your own place after a long business trip. This is especially true now that we are constantly taking on DIY projects around the house and making it our own. Because of our new found love of do it yourself projects, I thought I’d compile a gift guide for DIYers in your life. Below you will find a list of products that we use for all of our DIY work.

1. Dremel Multi-Max MM4

If you’ve never owned a Dremel before, then you’re sadly missing out. It’s one of those unique tools that can solve a number of issues. Like cutting pvc pipe, wood and tile flooring, and even sanding wood. I chose the Dremel Multi-Max MM40 because it has all of the top-line features you expect from the Dremel brand and more.

The Multi-Max MM40 features a powerful 3.8 Amp motor with Quick-Boost electronic feedback, allowing it to keep a constant speed while tackling the toughest materials. You’re able to switch accessories quickly thanks to Dremel’s patented Quick Lock technology, which uses Quick Hold – a magnetic accessory interface that holds the accessory in place so you don’t have to. The MM40 is one of the fastest DIY oscillating tools available, with an extra-wide 3.2-degree angle of oscillation.

2. CRAFTSMAN V20 2-Tool 20-volt Power Tool Combo Kit

You know the saying: “never leave home without?” This is how I feel about my CRAFTSMAN V20 2-Tool Power Tool Combo Kit when it comes to doing projects around the house. At the most basic and advanced DIY levels, this combo kit has you covered.

The 2-speed drill driver has a 1/2-in chuck to fit a variety of drill bits for different applications (see product #4), while the 280 UWO gives the power needed to effortlessly complete your tasks. Did I mention they are lightweight, cordless, compact, and feature overmolded grips for easier handling? Additionally, the 1/4-in impact driver has a maximum torque rating of 1,450 in-lbs for driving large fasteners and bits can easily be changed using the one handed bit insert.

The 2-tool Combo kit comes with a drill driver and an impact driver, (2) accessory bits, (2) V20 lithium ion batteries, a charger and a soft storage bag.

3. Lowe’s Gift Card

You can never go wrong with a Lowe’s gift card. There isn’t a holiday that has passed without us buying at least one Lowe’s gift card for someone in our family. They make for the perfect gift for someone you aren’t sure what exactly they need or want, but know that they are looking to expand their tool collection or about to take on a DIY project.

4. CRAFTSMAN 60-Piece Screwdriver Bit Set

If you’re going to have a drill, you’re going to need a proper bit set. That’s why I’m recommending the CRAFTSMAN 60-Piece Screw Driver Bit Set, which offers four ranges of CNC-machined drill bits that were constructed with shock-resistant tool steel for maximum durability.

5. WORX Saw Horse

You really don’t know how bad you’re in need of saw horses until you find yourself using stools and other furniture to cut things on. If I’m being honest, I’ve actually damaged a few stools in my day because I didn’t have a saw horse. Never again!

The saw horse from WORX is perfect for big and small projects. They feature specially designed bar clamps that can quickly and easily fasten items to the saw horse so you can get right to work. In case you need just a standard saw horse, the clamps are easily removed. The WORX Saw Horse supports up to 1,000 lbs, so as previously mentioned, you can be sure the big projects are no problem. If space becomes an issue, you will find cord hooks and a built-in shelf for storage of your tools and other necessary items you might be using with your saw horse.
